You almost disappoint me. You made this far too easy.
(However I didn’t know him until just now that I came over to your blog, and since I’m at work I don’t even have the speakers on. I’ll trust your opinion of the dude and check out his music as soon as I get home.)
Michael F. Nyiri, poet, philosopher, fool
ps. I love the internet.
Sigh. I failed you. Sorry.
@baldmike2004 - Well, that depends entirely on what music you like. His stuff is very different because it combines rock with lots of different folk styles and political poetry. It is deffinitely not easy listening. Of course, that is just his solo stuff. He is much more famous as the lead singer of System of a Down.
I do recommend his song I have in the music player up there, though.
uh…Zappa?
@RockOfEadie - Walter, That’s why the “related search” came up with S.O.A.D. I kinda figured as much. From how you describe the music, sounds like right up my alley. Also love the “Something Wicked This Way Comes” pose at top.MFN/ppf
I’m a total failure. =(
I’d heard of him and his music; I just hadn’t seen his face till now.
Serj Tankian. from System of a Down. Also has a solo album “Elect the dead” That came out I do believe in 2007. Amazing music.
ryc: I delete “First” comments since I refuse to encourage that attitude. I prefer people save that shit for the Theologians.
I have failed you
@Drakonskyr - I figured, which is exactly why I posted “first” in the first place. I knew it wasn’t condoned, I just didn’t know it would be deleted. It’s cool though.
If Serj grew out the full beard, he would look an awful lot like Charles Guiteau
i knows who he is, but I got out of listening to that stuff like 9 years ago, heh

Colonel Sanders is not the answer.
“I’ve failed you, Senator”
[Because you know quoting from Episode II isn't shameful enough in itself.]
I disappoint you.
