  • Why I decided I’m voting for Obama

    This man is Barak Obama:

     Obama

This word is fun to say:

     nigger

The only way I can say this word:

    nigger

And get away with it, is if I vote for:

    Obama

I can walk up to my black friends and say “What’s up nigger?”  When they immediately reach for their concealed handguns I can just calmly look at them and say, oh, it’s okay, I’m not racist, I voted for Obama!  They will then relax, lower their arms from their sides, and say “HEY!!! YOU DA NIGGA!”  and I will say, “Yup, I’m the nigger.”  Then they will say “No, it’s nigg-AH!”  And I will say, “Yeah, I’m the nigger.”  And they will shake their heads and walk away.

Okay, now to get a little more serious.  I am legitimately worried about the direction this country is going to go on civil rights following this election.  But let’s make one thing clear, we should not vote for Obama just because he is black and it will make America finally look like good guys again in the international public.  I personally, have found no real reason for him to get my vote.  Sure, he doesn’t sound like a sleazy political scumbag like we are used to politicians sounding like, but really, McCain doesn’t either.  This is the first election in a while where I can safely say that the two candidates both seem to be decent human beings.  However, I just have this peculiar feeling in my stomach, that if Obama does not get voted in as president, a large part of the black population will feel that the reason Obama didn’t make the president is for no other reason than that he is black.
Really, it’s not our fault if we just don’t like the guy as much as McCain.  The color of the skin should have nothing to do with it, but the amount of pressure the media is putting upon the fact that he is black is going to make every American citizen look like a no-good lyncher in the eyes of most of our African American peers.  Therefor, it is my firm belief that the progress of “civil rights” is going to dramatically change in one of two directions following the outcome of this election.  Either every white person in American will instantly be transformed into a racist, or MLK Jr. will finally sleep peacefully in his grave believing that his dream has been fulfilled.
Either way, us crackers are still the only race that has been to the moon.

So if you want to be able to say this:

    nigger

        Without getting this:

    bang

        Vote for this:

    Obama

Until next time, good luck with this:

    life

  • I so hate politics.

  • I would have voted for Colin Powell (back in his day), but I respected his reasons for not running. Can’t find any reason to vote for Obama. I sure hope people don’t make it about race.

  • U are too much, i love how u got all serious then went back to ur main concern your fun word. I still don’t think it would be acceptable to say even if u vote for him.

  • Dear Walter,

I supported Hillary Clinton for the last four years at least. I don’t  blog much about politics but I did blog about the sniping going on during the early months of the Democratic campaigns, because I felt it was beneath both Barack and Hillary. I’m very glad that Hillary has finally conceded, and even Bill had some good words to say about Obama in his speech at the convention.

I must admit I had tears in my eyes when Hillary stopped the roll call. I hope Obama gives her a top spot in the cabinet.

    (If he’s elected, that is)

I respect McCain, but I don’t want any more Republicans in the White House right now.

  • @Quilala - all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy

  • hahaha. You’re insane, son.

and thanks for the luck with that cereal. I’ll need it.

  • I’ll just take the cereal, thanks.

  • ha ha ha, and THIS is why i am subscribed to you. =)

  • I hate the mudslinging that’s been going on… which is a major reason why I hate politics.

  • Damnit, my comment didn’t show up! Drats! It was a long one too. Let’s see if I can duplicate it.

I was thinking the same thing about people assuming we’re prejudice if he doesn’t win, but I recon if he at least gets a good number of votes in comparison to McCain then no one can really say we’re racist against black people. Now, if he were to get zero votes (unlikely), then maybe they could speculate that there was racism in his demise. But regardless of logic, people are going to think what they want at the end of the day.

  • So if I vote for McCain, can I call women cunts?

  • edgy post, I hope people get it.

  • Well you know what. I AM racist. So that’s why I’m not voting for Obama, lol. j/k. I’m just not voting for him because he’s so fucking obviously Kira. I mean, come on. You really wanna give Kira the presidency?

    -Patrick-

  • Lol. You are crazy.

I should vote, but ugh, everyone is so yo face! About this stuff.
Its like back the fuck off.

    Xo

  • this is great editing!  i think i understood it!

  • “OBAMA GON’ CHANGE THE FUNK OUT OF SHIT!”

  • ._. Does remaining apathetic make me an uninformed, lucratively abysmal representation of teenagers? :D

I kid, though. I still don’t like any of the candidates…

  • This is Eadie’s thing, huh? Hahah. Youre too funny. But I don’t live in America. Good luck with the election, nigg-AH!

  • oh man, youre right really.
either way were a bit screwed.
    well. whatever.

  • I had to stop reading after the “n” word. I nearly vomited from the blatant racism that’s in this post. *vomits anyway*

  • @EilisAngelos - I think everyone does. the cheapshots just get so redundant and maddening. I’m not a big politics guy and wasn’t even certain I’d vote but I really like Obama’s stance on all the key issues as I really feel the republicans have lost touch. I came away very impressed with his speech as it was well thought out and well delivered.

Now, he definitely is a smooth talker but the real question is can he deliver or is it gonna be the same old song and dance due in large part to the idiocy of the right wing conservatives who never ever are agreeable?

    Only time shall tell.

P.S. If you say nigger even if you’re hanging with cool black friends like mine, they still take it personally. You can’t joke about it ever.

  •     Wow, the start of this was something else, but I know lots of black people that don’t care that he is black. Still there are the ignorant people that don’t even know the platform of their candidate.
I really don’t like what Obama has to say and the way that he lies so much. His last speech was plagiarized (from the “I have a Dream” Speech) and the truth was stretched. They both have ideas that I don’t agree with, but thats always going to be a factor.
I’m leaning more for McCain at the moment but with his newly nominated vice prez I’m just wondering why?!?!?! So now back on the fence, more or less. So we’ll see where they take it .

  • sweee! **throws a cookie for no reason**

  • You punk-ass cracker…

  • i think obama is a ggoodd speecher, is he good leader? i dunno. i wanna know. hell(sor…he’ll) will us know. or let you people know. go, vote    but i ‘ll keep my prayer support for this man.

  • If whoever wins this November goes on a War Against Bloggers and tries to censor everybody, I’LL KNOW WHO TO BLAME.

Use asterisks, man! It’s all about the asterisks!

    N*****

    Asterisks will save us all!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think I found something to rant madly about.

THE END TIMES ARE COMING! 2012!!! WE BLOGGERS WILL BE THE FIRST AGAINST THE WALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, man, that was awesome. It’s nice to finally hear something satireical against the man people seem to see as the “Obamessiah.” And you couldn’t be more right. If some uneducated, black, gang-banging low-life were to run for president, thousands would vote for him because “electing a black president would be a history making advancement for the black community.” It’s utterly sickening, and just make’s me give up on life cereal.

  • HAhahahaa. Fuck I love you nigger.

  • Lol nice post, but I’m voting for Obama because he’s a good politician not because of his skin color. Btw, my bf said if Obama does get elected as president, he’ll be shot to death…. hope it won’t happen, but you’ll never know.

  • As much as I see the “humor” behind your entry, it doesn’t give it a reason to use racial slurs to exercise your point.  I find it tasteless and unnecessary.

    -ray leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @jigg - I understand, and I knew that many would.  But in my opinion, racism will always exist until we decide that there is no such thing as a “racial slur” when it just becomes a word, that is when racism will truly have ended.

  • @RockOfEadie - But until that has changed, you are still broadcasting a racial slur.  Sure, you don’t mean it to be, but neither do the rappers who use it.  The constant use of it will ultimately lead to more people using it.

    -ray leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @jigg - I just don’t believe that people should be afraid of racism, and being afraid to use certain words because they can be linked to racism is the same as being afraid of it.  Instead, racism must be faced in a very bold way.  But like I said, this is just my opinion.

  • @RockOfEadie - Your efforts in your post was negated by your use of the racial slur.  I know you mean well, but your point could’ve been addressed without the negative connotation.

And in no circumstance am I saying that people are afraid of racism.  Being a minority myself, it is not something I’m afraid of, but I just think that it’s something that’s not good and should be dealt with.  Your use of the word that is being broadcasted to many people who read your blog and though you may be justified in your satire, it influences people to also use the word–in instances that are not justified.

    -ray leeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @jigg - I understand your concern, I just simply do not feel the same way.

  • @RockOfEadie - I’m sure you don’t and I’m not here to tell you take anything off your blog.  I’m just expressing my opinion on the subject matter.

    -ray leeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @jigg - I understand that.  I have always had controversial stuff here, and I am quite used to talking to people with differing opinions, but that is why I post controversial material.  I like to start conversations and get others thinking, even if it means not thinking the same way as me.  I just like to see people take sides and stand for something.  I have always felt that if you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.  I have taken no offense to anything you have said.

  • @RockOfEadie - I post up many controversial things and there are still many on-going debates on some older entries I have posted.  I think the difference between my way and your way is that my way talks about the controversies, whereas your way seems to stir it up and see throw it out there for people to be more aware of.

It’s not that I don’t agree with you.  I just feel that some things are necessary and some things are not.  It seems to me that your repeated use of the word is a way to overexpose it and make people callous to it, whereas my way of going about it would be to simply tell people that it’s unnecessary to use–even if in a satire.

    -ray leeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @jigg - I think that probably hits the bullseye

  • I would’ve voted for Condi Rice. She’d a rocked the House. howver, now you don’t look like a racsit because McCain picked a chick. So if you don’t vote for Obama, you’re a racist and if you don’t vote for McCain it’s because you’re anti-feminism. (But McCain’s Vp is HOTT-as well as qualified-)
Either way, you end up looking like a schmuck. Enjoy the next four years, ya jerk!

  • I’m decideing On wther to kill you or agree with you so I’ll do this *shoots you in both legs* Nice entry it was really insightful

  • lol. you are so funny man. but seriously why does politics have to be so treaterious at times? that is what makes it hard for people like me to even vote. i’m afraid now that if i vote for the wrong person we’re all screwed.

  • I think a big deal was made of race and gender and all that initially, but I’m pretty sure most people have moved past it. I really don’t care who wins at this point. Both candidates are likable and equally distressing policy-wise.

  • This was actually a funny post, even in spite of the lack of upholding the guise political correctness that today’s society is so obsessed about.

I like Obama and it’s Not because he’s black. (I think it’s cool that he is black, but largely irrelevant.) It’s because he’s different from Bush, and that after the damage of Bush, we need someone radically different in office.

Although, I am not the best person to talk politics with.
I don’t like all the tactical maneuvers that goes with trying to get elected.
Be real and talk about the issues honestly.
I can’t stand when people try to B.S. me…and unfortunately, politics is full of B.S.

  • That’s right, when was the last time you saw a black dude on the moon? LOL Great post! :D
